Today I reached Falun as planned. A lot of height meters and headwind made it an exhausting and slow stage.
I visited Falun on another trip before and already spent a day to visit the town. Back then, I also did the underground tour through the huge copper mine there. This time I’ll just pass through, sleeping at the same camp site as seven years ago.
When I approached, the camp site, still over one kilometre away, I noticed some kind of music, that became louder and louder as I got closer. Turns out there’s a metal festival going on.
But, once again, I got lucky and got a space for my tent even though the place was fully booked. The guy at the reception was in a good mood and even gave me the normal, non-festival rate. He warned me though, that it might be a little noisy. Well, the concerts seemed to have stopped around 01:45, but the party went on. I don’t care, after 150 km, I’ll sleep just fine regardless.
