No stage today, so there’s no GPS track.
Regeneration and seeing Copenhagen were the only items on today’s agenda.
I half walked half biked through the city, saw a lot and ate a lot. Scattered across the harbour areas, there was a festival called “Kulturhavn”, which I visited in the evening.
Here’s a picture of the town hall.
Copenhagen is definitely worth a holiday on its own.
Since I still have hotel WLAN and a hotel bed, I will use both as much as possible by uploading a whole bunch of pictures and sleeping instead of writing a long text.
There is a nice view on the train station from the hotel room (Wakeup Copenhagen, Carsten Niebuhrs Gade).
Yep, it’s a bike friendly city. The photo taken next to the Caritas Well, the oldest fountain in Copenhagen, which I didn’t have on the picture because I went for the bikes instead.
Nyhavnsbroen.
Christiansborg Slot (Christiansborg Palace)
This time, I got the Caritas Well.
Nyhavnsbroen again.

Nyhavnsbroen, I recommend getting something at Vaffelbageren, crowded place, but well worth it.
The Royal Danish Theatre (Opera building) photographed from Nyhavn pier.
Nyhavn pier.
St. Alban’s Church near the Fortress (Kastellet).
Skuespilhuset (Part of The Royal Danish Theatre), Nyhavn pier.
Statens Museum for Kunst, the Danish National Gallery.
Barracks at the Fortress (Kastellet).

Castle moat of the Kastellet.
H. C. Andersens Blvd. looking West from Langebro (bridge).
Kulturhavn festival at Islands Brygge.
Crossing H. C. Andersens Blvd. (from lower left) and Tietgensgade (from lower right). The clock tower is from the town hall. The entrance with the red lights belongs to Tivoli Gardens, a 19th-century amusement park.
Fountain in front of the town hall.

Lego and Ninjas coming together, that’s just awesome.
Fireworks at Tivoli amusement park from my hotel room. Appropriate end of this day, which also happens to be my birthday.
While exploring the city today, I ate so much, it almost hurts.

i recognize some of those sites from when I was there after ISC a few years ago. Fun and beautiful place! Enjoy a break!
