København, 2015-08-08

No stage today, so there’s no GPS track.

Regeneration and seeing Copenhagen were the only items on today’s agenda.

I half walked half biked through the city, saw a lot and ate a lot. Scattered across the harbour areas, there was a festival called “Kulturhavn”, which I visited in the evening.

Here’s a picture of the town hall.

Copenhagen is definitely worth a holiday on its own.

Since I still have hotel WLAN and a hotel bed, I will use both as much as possible by uploading a whole bunch of pictures and sleeping instead of writing a long text.

There is a nice view on the train station from the hotel room (Wakeup Copenhagen, Carsten Niebuhrs Gade).

Yep, it’s a bike friendly city. The photo taken next to the Caritas Well, the oldest fountain in Copenhagen, which I didn’t have on the picture because I went for the bikes instead.

Nyhavnsbroen, I recommend getting something at Vaffelbageren, crowded place, but well worth it.

Crossing H. C. Andersens Blvd. (from lower left) and Tietgensgade (from lower right). The clock tower is from the town hall. The entrance with the red lights belongs to Tivoli Gardens, a 19th-century amusement park.

Lego and Ninjas coming together, that’s just awesome.

Fireworks at Tivoli amusement park from my hotel room. Appropriate end of this day, which also happens to be my birthday.

While exploring the city today, I ate so much, it almost hurts.
